PR Careers

How to get into Public Relations

Public relations (PR) is about reputation and roles can span across a wide range of industries including business to business, consumer, not-for-profit, public sector, finance, entertainment and technology to name but a few. A PR career is not all glamour - especially when starting out you can expect to work very hard for little or no money. Again competition is fierce so taking a Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) approved course, building up your work experience and developing your contacts within the industry will all help to get your foot in the door for a career in public relations.
